Reliance Developer Programme organized its second nationwide Mobile Application contest between November 2005 and February 2006. The aim was to provide a unique platform to the developer community in India to innovate, ideate, showcase and participate in developing path-breaking and marketable applications. The Entries were invited under two categories: Corporate and Students.

The Mobile Application Content of Reliance Developer Programme ignited the interest of hundreds of developers. The student community has shown keen interest. Over 60% of the submissions were from the student community.

An external panel of jury members drawn from IT and Telecomm domain judged and selected the winning applications.

Judges' panel

An independent panel of Judges comprising of seasoned professionals from recognized organizations judged the entries and finalized the winners in both categories.

Dr. Vijay Mukhi, IT educationist and cyber security expert

Mr. Datta Subrahmanya, vice president (Customer Advocacy), Cisco

Mr. Prashant Dogra, technology marketing specialist, Nokia.
